Eulogy
Armando Mendoza
October 21, 1992 – November 20, 2025
Today we stand here with heavy hearts, trying to honor the life of Armando Mendoza, a man whose spirit was bigger than any words we could put together. He was someone who truly left an impact on every person he met.
Armando Mendoza was born on October 21st, 1992, in the city of Indio, California, to Cesar Mendoza and Judy Gonzalez. He left us far too soon on November 20th, 2025. Armando had four beautiful children with Glenda Mujica, whom he loved very much: Armando Mendoza Jr., Calvin Mendoza, Rosa Mendoza, and Zachariah Mendoza. If you ever saw him with his kids, you could see the pure love in everything he did. He enjoyed taking them on little adventures, exploring the world around them, or simply spending time together. Those moments mattered to him more than anything.
Armando had a way about him, a lightness, a joy that drew people in. He could be goofy, always joking, always ready to laugh or make someone else smile. He loved spending time with his family and friends, being in the moment, and enjoying life the best way he could. He brought fun into every room he walked into. Even when life threw challenges his way, he found a way to keep his head up and keep that contagious smile.
Armando was an electrician by trade, and he took great pride in his work, helping people all across the Coachella Valley. He was the oldest of his siblings: his sister Alezia Carmona, and his brothers Cesar Mendoza Jr., Michael Mendoza, Fabien Castillo, Jacob Mendoza, and Caleb Mendoza.
Armando is preceded in death by his grandmother Rosa “Nana Rosie” Mendoza, his grandfathers Seferino Mendoza and Armando Gonzalez, his sister Alezia Carmona, and his uncles Armando and Marco “Tony” Mendoza.
Losing Armando hurts in a way that is hard to explain. It feels unfair, it feels heavy, but in the middle of the pain, we hold onto everything he gave us — the memories, the lessons, and all the love. Armando's four beautiful children are the pieces of him we get to carry forward.
Armando, thank you for being who you were, for the joy, the strength, and the goofiness. Thank you for the love you shared so freely. Thank you for the good times and for the way you made life feel fun, even when it wasn't easy. You will always be missed, but you will never be forgotten. Your spirit lives on in your kids, your family, and in every life you touched.
We love you always.
